About Taste
Taste was Longridge High School's 2009-2010 Young Enterprise company. The company, consisting of 11 members had great successes over the year, including hosting their own food festival and launching a local, seasonal recipe book. After all this, they participated in the Young Enterprise competition, beating all the other companies in the North West with the exception of one.
Undoubtedly, the company members have gained a great deal from their YE experience, which is already proving extremely useful.
The team would like to thank their teachers at Longridge High School; Miss Mason, Mr Greaves and Mrs Green, and also their business advisor, Mr Chris Brown from Westinghouse fuels. Without their support we would not be where we are today. Our thanks also extend to the Longridge community as a whole, but especially Longridge Town Council, Longridge Social Enterprise Company and the Longridge Business Group.
